This time-honored event is the largest of the year in Szentendre and has become over the decades a genuine, broadly focused festival of the arts. For two months, from the end of June to the end of August, it offers programmes in nearly every branch of art to visitors and locals alike. The streets, squares, churches, gardens and yards come alive with theatre performances, concerts, films, exhibitions, children’s programmes and events that showcase traditions. |
