The Blaskovich Museum in Tápiószele is the only gentry mansion that survived World War II intact. In seven rooms of the museum, established by the Blaskovich brothers in 1952, an interior exhibition can be seen displaying the relics and memories of 19th century Hungarian progressive lesser nobility culture. The exhibition entitled „Manor house in the 19th century”, displays a uniquely rich collection evoking the lifestyle of Hungarian lesser nobility. The life of that era is depicted in the house’s reception room, drawing room, living room and study. Among the Empire and Biedermeier furniture, goldsmith’s objects, ornamental pieces and hunting arms from the 16th- 19th century, Viennese and Meissen porcelain can be seen. The walls are decorated with pictures by Hungarian, Italian, Austrian and Dutch painters.
